Bespoke Design for Home Renovations & New Construction

Nestled in New Hampshire’s stunning Lakes Region, Studio Sage Interiors partners with local tradespeople, contractors, and vendors, integrating ourselves as an essential part of the home renovation and construction process. From remodeling a single room to renovating an entire house to building a brand new home, we’ll handle every design aspect.

Owner and Principal Designer Amanda Raymond has extensive experience in construction and architecture. This means our partners will have everything they need to effectively execute the client’s vision.

For our clients, this means we will advocate for your personal aesthetic and overall vision for your space. We will approach your project like a blank canvas, free of preconceived or cookie-cutter techniques. Instead, we’ll listen deeply to your desires and goals—only then will we present unique ideas.

We are equipped to project manage the interior, acting as the thread between the design intent and the built environment. The result? An inspiring, adventurous journey and a standout home that evokes joy.

“I love mixing eras, textures, and colors to create spaces that feel collected over time…getting better with age, telling a richer story as they evolve.”

-AMANDA RAYMOND, OWNER & PRINCIPAL DESIGNER

Our Interior Design Process

Project Analytics

  • We are excited to dive in and align with your architect, builder, and other contractors! We’ll first assess your current space and get to know you, your style, and your goals. This ensures we weave your personal aesthetic and story into your interior design plan from Day 1 by:

    • Reviewing blueprints (where applicable)

    • Taking measurements and photos

    • Cataloging any existing furniture to be considered for the design

    • Reviewing your inspiration images

Purchasing

  • With final design decisions made, we’ll take it from here! We will purchase everything from finishes to furniture to décor. This phase includes:

    • Ordering items on your behalf

    • Provide status updates on orders

    • Manage item tracking to warehouse and coordination with contractors

    • Set installation day timeline

Concept Design

  • Once we have a solid grasp of your lifestyle, personal style, likes, and dislikes, we start bringing your vision to life—on screen, that is. During this phase, your interior designers will:

    • Create floor plans to determine the best possible layout for each space

    • Create design board(s) with initial selections to communicate the design direction

    • Prepare an estimated budget based on initial selections

    • Discuss fine art curation, if desired

Project Management

  • We’ll take care of the heavy lifting and advise you throughout the renovation/construction process. And, of course, we’ll ensure all details adhere to your interior design plan. We will handle the following as needed:

    • Coordinate meetings and schedule work with trades and vendors

    • Attend scheduled site visits as applicable or requested by client/trades

    • Provide information to the contractor, trades, and architect

    • Provide additional drawings and samples

Final Design

  • Now is when it starts feeling real! When you’re happy with the floor plans and have made your initial selections, we will:

    • Source furnishings according to the approved floor plans

    • Assist in sourcing and selecting necessary trades and vendors

    • Prepare drawings, renderings, and elevations as needed to convey final design elements

    • Prepare proposals, samples, swatches, design boards, and finishes for design presentation

Installation

  • You’re home is almost ready for living and loving! It’s time to add the final elements that make it truly yours. Our interior designers will:

    • Coordinate furniture, décor, and art deliveries and installations

    • Oversee installation day* and style all items, including any additional accessories and items selected

    • Review final budget and prepare final invoices

*Depending on the size and scope of the project, more than one installation may be included

Capture your personality and story in a warm, welcoming environment you can call home.
